DESCRIPTION:The Coasters Show n Shine is at Hackett Park in the village.  This is strictly for our club members.  If you are more comfortable wearing a mask please feel free to do so.  We will safe distance in the set up and hope everyone can do the same even though  we are outdoors.\n\nThe gates at the park will be open at 9:00 am for parking.\n\nThe time of the Show n Shine is from 10:00 am-4:00 pm .  You may stay as long as you like or as long as you are able.\n\nPlease bring a chair and your picnic lunch and beverages.  Due to Covid 19 we will not be handling any food items eg. Fried chicken\n\nThis day is also doubling as the family picnic for this year.  We will have the sound system to help keep everyone informed throughout the day.

SUMMARY:COVID-19 APPRECIATION ROD RUN CRUISE
DESCRIPTION:There will be a Sleepy Hollow Covid Style Cruise on Friday August 6th 2021.  There is a different format to break up the traffic  this year due to no traffic monitors or police involvement.  The members who reside North of Wharf Road in Sechelt will muster at Chatalech High School at 6:00 pm under the guidance of Ken Begg.   Those members who reside South of Wharf Road will muster at Tsain-Ko Mall at 6:00 pm under the guidance of Larry Knowles.  Chatalech cars will depart at 6:15 and when the last car hits the highway the cars at Tsain-Ko Mall will roll onto the Highway at approximately 6:30 pm  The cruise will go out to the Halfmoon Bay Fire Hall and cruise back on the same route.

DESCRIPTION:The Gibsons Legion have extended an invitation to the Club to have a Show n Shine at the the Gibsons Legion on July 25th 2021.  The burgers and beer at 12:30…the beer is not permitted outdoors so after your lunch the show n shine at 1:15 outside.  The burger and beer for just $10.00 !!  A steal of a deal!!  These times are just a guideline.  You can lunch whenever you like!  The times are 12:30 to 4:00 pm.  The Legion has  also invited members to partake in the meat draw that commences at 4:00.  The burger and beer for just $10.00!!  A steal of a deal!\n\nFor those who would like to cruise down as a group you could meet at Chatalech High School and depart at 12:00.\n\nIt has been a very long time since we have been able to gather and have a visit so enjoy the day!\n\nThank you to Garry Singbeil  and Wilma Jones of the Legion for this activity.

DESCRIPTION:What is Summer without the annual Cochet’s Food Bank Run?  It is happening rather quickly so we hope as many as possible are able to attend.  Mary and Bill would like us to come on Sunday July 18th 2021.\n\nWe will muster at Chatalech High School at 10:30 am\nAt 10:40 we will cruise to      12555 Warnock Road     Madeira Park\n\nPlease bring a Food Bank item or a cash donation (which is preferred) \, a share dish of your choice\, a chair\, a plate\, cutlery\, and your beverages.  The club will look after the meat that Mary chooses to chef up for us.\n\nI am sure the competitive members will get into some of the games that will be there!  If you have a game you would like to share please bring it along.\n\nWe normally collect $5.00 per vehicle to add to the donation box….\n\n                                                                        See you at Cochet’s and Thank you Mary and Bill….

Stay in your car.   Go up Wharf turn right on Dolphin to Trail turn left on Trail past the Firehall  to Toredo turn right go past Police station turn right on Shorncliffe to Cowrie  along To Inlet turn right to Toredo turn left then turn right at Ambulance station turn left on little road past Ambulance station then turn left on Reserve road up to McDonalds turn right past band hall then left to highway to light turn left go around the hospital   All in appreciation of all these front line workers. DESCRIPTION:The WHALE will be decorated and heading to the light parade on November 30th.  Members able to help decorate will meet at 11:00 am at Louis Vignal’s shop at 6529 NORWESTBAY ROAD. \nCome decorate the whale\, have a piece of pizza and a beverage.  Louis will  put the coffee on…the club will get the pizza…You bring a chair and your choice of beverage. \nCome and be a piece off our entry in the LIGHT PARADE 2019! \nPS….If you have some lights or suitable decorations for the job feel free to bring it along!  We will try to dress up the old girl the best we can!!

SUMMARY:2018 Food Bank Rod Run
DESCRIPTION:The Food Run to Bill and Mary Cochet’s at Pender Harbour will be held on May Sunday May 6th\, 2018.  The run will rally at the RBC along Teredo St in Sechelt at 10:15 am.  We will proceed at 10:30 to Cochet’s (12555 Warnock Rd) where we will gather for the Picnic and Food Bank Fundraiser.   If you would like to donate cash\,  that too is appreciated as it goes a lot further!   Traditionally the Car Club  provides the Meat for the occasion and members bring share plates eg. appetizers\, salads\, or desserts.  Please bring your own beverages\, cutlery\, and chairs!  There is always lots to eat!  That is what the Coasters is best known for aside from their wonderful cars or rides.   Tea and coffee will be provided.  Thank-you Mary and Bill Cochet!
