DESCRIPTION:This event is hosted by the Sunshine Coast Drag Racing Association on a 1/8 mile track. This event is open to all attendees of the motor sport weekend\, however\, there is a mandatory tech inspection of your vehicle by the SCDRA. There are many classes of dragsters that include: top fuelers\, exhibition cars\, funny cars\, street machine\, hotrod and stock classes.\n\n\n\nFollow the signs at the top of Field Road in Wilson Creek \nGates open 7am \nTech Inspection 8am -10am \nPractice runs 10am \nGate Admission $10 Spectators/Racers \nRacing Fee $50 \nChildren under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult \n\n\n\n\n\n\nFor More than Information Contact cnaustin@telus.net

DESCRIPTION:Rod Run and Show ‘n’ Shine in Pender Harbour\, at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Madeira Park which is approximately 60 kilometers north of Sechelt. Participants in the Rod Run assemble at 9:00 a.m. at the Trail Bay Centre for a 9:30 am departure to Pender Harbour. The Show ‘n’ Shine is from noon until 4:00 PM and is a great way to relax. You are also eligible to win trophies and door prizes.

DESCRIPTION:During the Show ‘n’ Shine there are numerous door prizes drawn all day at random for the participants.  Local restaurants and food concession stands are available from volunteer organizations who are doing community fund raising.  A big seller is the limited edition “Coasters Car Club Sleepy Hollow T-shirts”.  There will be a food truck on the field during the Show ‘n’ Shine and the Lions Club will be selling 50/50 tickets.
